Red Dot (1 day)

You may have been shooting your irons front sight-focused for years, but we as a species have been target-focused for centuries. If you’ve recently mounted a red dot on your pistol, or you’re having trouble adjusting to the new sighting system, this is the course for you. Don’t have a red dot? Why not??? Get one mounted and come learn how to use it!

Topics covered:

The many PROS and few CONS of red dots, and why irons aren’t entirely obsolete

ZEROING your dot

CONSISTENTLY finding the dot on the draw (includes brief review of the presentation)

Maximizing efficiency through VISION (it’s not a sight picture anymore)

Calling your shots

Target TRANSITIONS

THROTTLE CONTROL (attack/control targets)
